The old adage “It’s better to give than receive” is only partly true. It’s proven we are happier; our body releases “feel good” chemicals and endorphins that lead to lower stress levels, blood pressure and ultimately a longer life span. Yet this belief has led to an over-emphasis on giving and an aversion to receiving. Giving and receiving are reciprocal acts; giving initiates the process. We now know that gratitude does similar things for us, physically and emotionally!

What we oppose outside ourselves, making it/them the problem, is projection. Recognizing that and addressing those roots within is a challenge. It will have some impact on external reality, and it’s easier than trying to change the outer world! Yet, we’re still affected by all the various actors, human systems, and the group energy field of the collective. To expand our light and influence, we also need to strengthen our energetic integrity to prevent being overwhelmed by the world at large.

Accusing and attacking the Other creates division and strife; along with the impulse to control, it causes wars. Projecting discontent outward can cement the identity of groups, cultures, and countries. Claiming moral high ground is used to justify harm - religious violence is the most pervasive. It also relieves uncomfortable feelings like shame, anxiety or guilt.

The United Nations was created in 1945 to promote international peace and security, friendly relations among countries and international cooperation. Almost all of the world’s governments belong. It was born out of idealism and an understanding of the costs of war, but as implemented still carried the dynamics of power. Today we see its failures clearly and fear those ideals are being lost; but it’s just the old structure that is breaking down. The ideals remain intact!

The cosmos continues to challenge us to ground and expand this week. Incoming frequencies from the sun at equinox and planetary alignments influence our energetic environment. 3i-Ah visits Jupiter as it moves out of the solar system, leaving behind a trail of plasma to enlighten us! Plasma, the 4th state of matter, includes the other 3 – solid, liquid and gas. The visible universe is 98% plasma. It’s part of the interstellar medium along with magnetic fields, cosmic rays, photons and dust.

We’re still in the shadow of the full moon eclipse; spring equinox arrives soon, and 3-iAh will be communing with Jupiter as it leaves our solar system.

I’m sharing a passage from one of my most treasured books, The Standing Stones Speak¹. Although this book was channeled over 25 years ago, I return to the wisdom it contains again and again. Last year I realized that for some strange reason, I had never read the last chapter! When I finally read “A Glimpse of the Future” it became clear - this is about NOW. There’s no relief from the chaos and intensity anytime soon. Our job is to hold the light - and the line - and integrate these new energies.
