Humanity is entering a new phase – call it the Age of Aquarius, or an evolutionary necessity. It’s about moving into a more connected, heart-based reality. My Pleiadean friends tell me that the human heart is unique in all the universe. Energetically we are moving from a 3rd chakra reality – the mind, ego, separation - to a 4th chakra one – heart, compassion and connection. Opening our hearts, and the chakra that fuels it, is imperative to creating a more harmonious, egalitarian world.

Western civilization emphasizes the mind and influenced the whole world with that perspective. The primacy of intellect and resulting systems - financial, governmental, environmental and social - have become so far out of balance they are unsustainable. Collectively, we manifested this! To understand that breaking everything is a necessary part of the path forward is hard to take. It’s not about an evil force outside of us causing all the chaos; it’s a wake-up call!

The heart is our soul’s embodiment in this life, but our big brains and the possibility of free will is a gift. With all that grey matter available (we use so little!), our potential for expanded awareness is boundless. What’s holding us back from that?

Resistance takes a lot of energy. We resist all kinds of things; the end of a relationship, a bad diagnosis, changing a habit… Conscious or unconscious, a belief or emotion, it’s a refusal to accept the truth of what’s happening - and we are hard wired to resist change! Politically we are resisting a vision of a world we don’t want to live in. And “we’re not going back” to the old ways (even if we could). We have to move with what’s going on to create the next inception point.

The true revolution happening is an evolution of consciousness, precipitated by big forces beyond our control. Planets, their particular alignments, the sun at its max, 3iAh and all the comets (7!) zooming around our solar system right now - including Lemmon, with its spectacular tail! - are all gigantic living beings. They’re interacting with and influencing each other, conspiring to activate dramatic change. (I’ve been gifted with more ways of working with energy for healing.) There are limits to what our intellect can take in compared to our hearts, so it’s happening on a mostly unconscious level.

The resistance to deeply knowing and feeling our interconnectedness is what actually needs to be  addressed. It requires letting go of our conditioned sense of self, and experience and foster the truth of that. This is the real work at hand (although both are important – rejecting/releasing what we don’t want, and more fully opening our hearts to what can be.)  

These are revolutionary times, beyond our political context. What can we do to expand our hearts and melt any resistance to the great unknown?

*A scientific definition of resistance: When electrons moving in an energy current collide with the atoms within the conductor (matter, container, structure) and impede the flow of energy. Each collision transfers energy from the electron to the atom, causing the atom to vibrate more intensely, producing heat. Sound like current events?
