Although the daily onslaught of bad news is ongoing, there’s a definite feeling of change in the air - like we’ve turned a corner. We’ve had an energetic avalanche of momentum lately, with many planets now in Aries and Uranus arriving in Gemini for a 7-yr stint on April 25th. It trines Pluto in Aquarius to accelerate our movement into the Age of Aquarius. With all this happening, it feels good to anchor ourselves in a traditional Earth cycle – the celebration of Beltane, also known as May Day.

Every year we experience this creative surge of life force. The full moon of May 1st is called the Flower Moon. As flowers burst forth, traditionally they are woven into a crown to wear or display. Festivals across the United Kingdom and beyond start with a bonfire and other wildness the night before. The next day is a celebration of the May Queen and Green Man uniting to light the flame of summer. Joined by Earth spirits and sprites, seeds are planted at this time of fertility to insure an abundant season.

We are tending to another flame at this time too! Buddha lived over 2,500 years ago; markers of his earthly presence (birthday, enlightenment, and death) are celebrated on the first full moon in May. Called Wesak, it highlights his path and illuminates the way to higher consciousness. 

As above, so below… this past week there was some intense solar activity due to a comet that flew directly between the Sun and Earth. Two X-class and multiple M-class solar flares (the two highest ratings) happened. On a spectrograph it looked like a large coronal hole was activated by the comet - literally reaching out toward it when it was closest to the sun. These comets of late seem to be trailblazing across our galaxy to bring more consciousness into play here on Earth. 

This activity directly affects us through the Schumann Resonances, a set of natural frequencies encircling the planet. During this time they dramatically strengthened in intensity, charged up by solar and plasmoid activity. We are beings of resonance, in coherence with the Earth’s baseline at 8Hz. Our brain operates at 0-40Hz. There are nested levels of Schumann frequencies – 8, 15, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45Hz - like a musical chord. Different states of consciousness relate to the different bands in the Schumann Resonances.

In concert with the increased intensity of those frequencies, we have a collective call to action on May 1st. On “May Day Strong - Workers Over Billionaires” people in America will rally, march, and take action to make our economic power felt. This includes boycotting school, work and corporate shopping; it coincides with International Workers Day across the globe.

A new day is coming. The darkness, heartbreak and challenges of the moment will certainly continue for now (guidance tells me next week is pivotal) - but we will eventually arrive at a new experience of the world, in every way.
